I think the most important thing we learned was Marketing. Marketing is a big part of any
business. I liked the project on Pono Grindz because it really helped us get an
understanding of how to market your own business. In the classroom we often develop
products that we specifically feel might sell well at Kua Bay. After we create the product, we
test the market on campus, selling and taking surveys during wiki. After determining which
of all the test products we created has the best response, we then produce this for pono
grindz to sell and help raise some funds for our program. I enjoyed learning about
marketing so much that I am considering doing it for a living. I also enjoyed having Julie
come in and teach us social media marketing, as well. With her help we got a valuable understanding of how to use marketing and create social media content. .
