Culinary Program Partnering with Pono Grindz Food Truck
For my testimony I helped the Pono Grindz food truck at Kua Bay. I experienced what
it is like working in a food truck and for the most part its fun. We got to make tacos,
hot dog, poke bowls, wraps, shave ice, and many more delicious foods. We have
learned many things in Food Service, including marketing, creating surveys, and food service
standards. During class time, we have often explored different food products to create
for Pono Grindz. We test market the items during our wiki after knowing our food costs and collect surveys from students as the test market.
